The College of Arts and Sciences is Alabama’s largest and most recognized public liberal arts collee and has received national recognition for academic excellence. The College is the largest of the University’s 12 academic divisions, with approximately 8,500 undergraduate students and 1,100 graduate students in 22 academic departments.
Graduate studies are supported by a wide range of research, performance, artistic and clinical facilities that serve the needs of area communities and improve quality of life in Alabama while providing excellent venues for graduate research and professional practice.
